Dehydrated skin? We've got you covered!

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Do you know the feeling of tight skin, lack of elasticity and dullness? Especially in the cold season, our skin is additionally stressed by dry heating air and high temperature changes (cold outside - warm inside), which in extreme cases can lead to more noticeable fine lines and peeling skin.

How does dehydrated skin happen in the first place?

Unlike dry skin, which does not produce enough sebum to maintain skin elasticity, dehydrated skin is much more about a lack of water in the upper layer of the skin. Or rather - the skin's protective barrier is disturbed and cannot store enough water. Dry heating air, air conditioning, harsh skin care products, little sleep, or too little water are factors that can lead to dehydrated skin.

But don't worry, we've got you covered!

In order to strengthen the skin barrier and reduce the loss of moisture from the skin, our skin needs an extra portion of moisture and strengthening of the skin barrier.

You can help your skin to build up its moisture content and to make sure to drink enough water throughout the day (1.5-2l per day) and in the evening maybe give up the last Netflix episode and go to sleep earlier ;-)

And we help you with our "more than a makeup remover" to strengthen the skin protection barrier and to build up the moisture content from the outside.

Because - as the name suggests, our "more than a makeup remover" can do much more than just remove makeup. You can apply it generously to dry skin in the evening as a moisturizing mask, massage it in thoroughly so that the active ingredients can take best effect and leave it on for about 30 minutes before washing it off. Brittle lips can be treated at the same time. You can repeat this several evenings in a row until your skin has recovered and you feel that it has regained its elasticity.

The real stars behind it:

  • Cold-pressed jojoba oil: builds the skin's protective barrier and accelerates its recovery.

  • Olive Squalane: helps skin retain moisture and improve the skin's natural barrier.

  • Pomegranate CO2 extract: promotes skin elasticity and is deeply nourishing.

  • Cold-pressed almond oil: helps the skin maintain its elasticity

  • Cold-pressed coconut oil: moisturizes and improves barrier function - gives the product its subtle warm scent.

  • Vegetable Glycerin: Helps skin attract and retain moisture.

  • Vitamin E: Helps regenerate skin cells

If you feel your skin needs more, you can apply our "natural moisturizer n°1" a little more generously after the moisturizing mask and not massage it in completely. The active ingredients can then be slowly absorbed over night and help to strengthen your skin's protective barrier.
